The Common-Tier Armors can be acquired by getting 3 shards of their element defeating normal minions on all the instances/dungeons. All of them cost 300 gold and take 5 minutes to create. Elemental shards are sometimes randomly dropped by minions, but using a special attack will guarantee a minion will drop the shards of its elemental type. Bosses will also drop shards if a special attack is not used.
