Got my first epic at lvl ~120. Most people get their epics late lvl. Not everyone has wild luck loke you do.. Besides getting an epic early only slows you down.. they cost a lot to have them maxed. In early lvl you need lots of gold to build up a lineup for 43 epic boss kills

Sure 4star plusses don't latest beat war epics and latest chest epics.. But they do defeat most of the fuseable epics: blazeborne, Tectonic, moontide, cloudrange (not fuseable), Northerner's...

So why bother trying to get an fuseable epic early when recent 4star plusses are (mostly) better, more easy and reliable to get.

And... how do you plan him to farm 3star mats efficiently so early with a lineup like that? 2 roots/rocfeather's each 3 hrs?

Sorry to break down your comment but in our guild I daily see applicants tried fusing epics at early lvl and failed.

You might have misinterpret my comment. He have been lvl 60, expecting him to be around 80-90 to farm the KoD stage, which is easily doable. Do you know that Mailstrom and the spirit and stone epic are much stronger than 4* and are fuseable? I didn't have luck I actually worked for my epic.

And i see nothing wrong fusing your 3*'s away when you will also get 4*'s from EB, you are getting enough enhancing material from the arena..

You were Lvl 90 and worked for your epic? We have 5 guilds, I daily get numerous applicants from lvl 70-110. Most of them had a epic fusion dream, but also most of them failed to fuse an epic at early lvl.

I got maelstrom maxed, I can say it doesn't much majorly outclass recent 4star plusses. Besides, fusing a good epic is even harder than fusing an epic. 4star plusses are reaching close to reaching 2900 combined stats. Most fuseable epics are at ~3130 combined stats. So you can say epics are 8% better than the recent 4star plusses. Not so big difference. Besides, you'll likely fuse an even worse outdated epic than the epic you hoped for.

You where explicit talking about farming for 3stars. Now I don't mind do what people do with arena 3stars but farming 3stars while people don't even have a full 4star+ or even a 4star lineup is just outragous. You also know that 3star fusion turns most of the time into a 2star.

For me, I pretty much get a lot of enhancing material from arena. (55k weekly arena points) When I started with the new arena I was only capable of getting about 28k arena points weekly, that surely doesn't give enough enhancing fodder to progress armors on a decent pace.

I see both your points. Both your sides will help me in the long run but I'm more curious as to what I should be doing right now.... Should I just farm snakeskins all day or focus on levelling???... should I work on maxing The epic boss armors ( not the plus version) I have or save my Mats til i can craft the bigger four (infernal lord, dark prince, rocfeather, shaman)???

Atlantean Avenger+ (50/50) maxed

Crius+ (50/50) maxed

Living Flame+ (30/50)

Hydra Hunter+ (38/50)

Epic boss armours:

Nathair armour (30/70)

Wasp Carapace (18/70)

Plan to finish big four and the move on to finishing epic boss armours before starting on Infernal Lord+.... If this is a bad idea tell me

1 You can fight in the arena. three wins in a row get you an uncommon armor that you can use for enhancement. Reaching milestones gets you 1 stars and 2 stars that you can use to enhance armors above level 15 or so.

2 you best focus on the new legendaries that you get from the Epic Boss. They are stronger than the obsolete legendaries you get from fusion. Ravenlord was already substandard when it came out. Focus on Nathair and Wasp now.

3 I would say your legendaries. There was a time that fully enhanced 3 star + armours were as strong as normal legendaries. But the legendary stats have increased and they are stronger now.

Your next worthwhile achievement will be to beat the Epic Boss at level 43, For that you will need 3 maxed recent legendaries of favourable elements.

If you had Voidborne Shroud I would recommend you to give that one priority because it is very likely it will be dual strong against the upcoming Araknos.

Nathair will probably be neutral, weak or single strong against Vermax (neutral against mono water, strong against fire/water and weak against air/water), and quite definitely weak against (spirit) Araknos.

Wasp will most definitely be neutral against Vermax and strong or neutral against Araknos.

We will see.

Pretty soon the 4 star plusses will be stronger than the old Epics you get from fusion. Getting 4 stars is a surer way of getting stronger than fusing. But on the way to them you will get a lot of superfluous armors you can fuse anyway.
